Last updated: 7 October 2026

This notice explains how I process the personal data of people who write to me through the contact form of lorenzobedin.com, under Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data controller

Lorenzo Bedin. For any request about your data you can write to me through the contact form on the site.

What data I collect

Why I use it and on what basis

I use your name, email and message only to read your request and reply to you. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and sending the form. You can withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

Technical data is used to run the site and keep it secure. The basis is my legitimate interest.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not use analytics or profiling cookies. If you choose a language with the IT / EN switcher, I remember your choice in a single technical cookie (nf_lang) that lasts one year and only serves to avoid sending you to the wrong language. It contains no personal data and you can delete it from your browser at any time.

Fonts are hosted on the site itself and I load no resources from external services. The links to LinkedIn and Instagram lead outside the site: there, the rules of those services apply.

Who receives the data

I do not pass the data on to third parties. The site and the form are hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which processes the data on my behalf as data processor. Transfers outside the European Union take place with the safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long I keep it

I keep your message for as long as needed to reply to you and, if a collaboration begins, for its duration. If there is no follow-up, I delete it within 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to the processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. If you believe the processing breaches the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

Updates

If I change how I process data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
